These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in training programs, certification courses, swim center accreditation, and any related services provided by Swim School International (“SSI”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By registering for any of our instructor courses, applying as an SSI-accredited Swim Center, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1. General Eligibility

Participants must be at least 16 years old for instructor certification programs unless otherwise stated.

All course applications are subject to review and approval by SSI.

SSI reserves the right to reject any application without obligation to provide a reason.
2. Course Enrolment & Certification

Certification will only be issued upon successful completion of all required training components, assessments, and verified attendance.

SSI reserves the right to assign or withhold coaching opportunities based on performance, attitude, or availability of slots.
3. Payment Terms

All payments must be made in full before course commencement.

Payment options include PayNow, bank transfer, or credit/debit card via our secure platform.

Course fees are non-refundable.
4. Course Rescheduling and Cancellation

Requests for deferment must be made in writing at least 7 working days before the course start date.

SSI may cancel or reschedule courses due to low enrolment, instructor unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be notified and offered an alternative date.

Reassessment fees may apply if a participant fails the initial assessment or misses an assessment without valid reason.
5. Code of Conduct

Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner during all training sessions.

SSI maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward abuse, harassment, or unsafe behavior.

Any misconduct may result in immediate dismissal from the program without refund.
6. Use of Media

By attending SSI courses or submitting your information, you grant SSI permission to capture and use photographs, videos, or testimonials for training and marketing purposes, unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.
7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, manuals, videos, and training content provided by SSI remain the intellectual property of SSI or its licensors.

Unauthorized reproduction, sharing, or resale of materials is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability

SSI and its affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our training or use of our services.

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to engage in physical swimming activities.
9. Privacy Policy

Personal data collected during registration or training will be handled in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Data may be shared with relevant authorities or partners for certification, insurance, or regulatory purposes.
10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
