SSI Reacr Right (First Aid, CPR & AED) Certification
SSI React Right is SSI’s emergency first response training program, designed to prepare participants to confidently respond to medical emergencies in and out of the water. This comprehensive course covers primary assessment, CPR, AED use, first aid, and optional oxygen administration. It equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide immediate care until professional medical help arrives.
Through a balanced mix of theory, scenario-based simulations, and hands-on practice, you’ll:

Learn how to assess emergency scenes and perform a structured primary assessment

Master life-saving CPR techniques and the safe use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

Understand how to manage common first aid situations such as bleeding, burns, and shock

Gain the confidence to act quickly and effectively in high-pressure emergencies

Optionally, learn how to recognize oxygen-related emergencies and administer emergency oxygen safely
SSI Level 1
Outcome & Credentials
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a digital SSI Level 1 Swim Teacher certification, authorizing you to teach:

React Right Series
Essential emergency response training for all.
- React Right – Primary Assessment
Focus: Scene evaluation, first aid principles, and emergency response
Goal: Learn how to assess emergency situations, check vital signs, and activate emergency services - React Right – CPR & AED
Prerequisite: Completion of Primary Assessment
Focus: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator use
Goal: Provide life-saving care for unconscious or non-breathing victims - React Right – First Aid
Prerequisite: Completion of CPR & AED
Focus: Handling common injuries, bleeding, burns, and shock
Goal: Administer first aid safely and confidently until professional help arrives - React Right – Oxygen Administration (Optional Module)
Prerequisite: Completion of First Aid
Focus: Safe use of emergency oxygen equipment
Goal: Recognize oxygen-related emergencies and deliver oxygen support properly
